The taste of my grandmother's cobbler and the bewitching first month of fall, wrapped into one.
After reading this post , I’m ready to lick my phone.
I will be making this bewitching galette as soon as I can. I can't wait, but I became allergic to stone fruits recently, bah humbug! So, I will be making this with apple and pear! I spent today making pumpkin spice challahs. Tiring, but worth it! I have never had sausage gravy; it must be a southern love. All of my relatives were from Europe, and I never had the opportunity to taste that kind of food.
You are lucky! What wonderful memories you have! I am lucky to subscribe to your writings! Thank you!
Love this story, and all the gumption of those Women! Defiantly making this beautiful galette xxo
Happy Birthday, Aunt Dorothy!
Please send the recipe for sausage gravy. Thank you, Sarah
I so enjoyed reading this post, and especially loved your vivid description of your grandmother. And also loving all the apple recipes I'm seeing, including this beautiful galette/cobbler.
