I spent today making pumpkin spice challahs. Tiring, but worth it! I have never had sausage gravy; it must be a southern love. All of my relatives were from Europe, and I never had the opportunity to taste that kind of food.

Yes!! It will be wonderful with apple and pear combo. I made two apple-pear galettes this season as well, and I think it's the pear that really gets me. It is so fragrant and tender and works beautifully in combination with another, slightly more tart fruit.
As for sausage gravy, it's a southern food for sure, and really satisfying and wonderful when made correctly. I hope you get a chance to try it in the right hands. Thank you for this note!
