That cider chicken has been calling me all week! Since we currently only have one pork eater and three chicken eaters, I'm going to omit the bacon --and then dream up a veg to slather this suave on for my husband. Im thinking Cauliflower steaks.

I am going to attempt to make the Save the Day Spinach Pie without the cheese. I am well schooled in Phyllis dough, so no problems with that. It seems every savory recipe has cheese, yet I grew up with savory food without cheese.

Christine--If anyone can do it, you can! There are so many other ways to amp up the savory-ness and make sure it had enough salt/flavor/umami. Soy sauce would be one way! Or what about a really savory cashew cheese?

Guess who is now allergic to nuts? Yup, never before in my lifetime. Dr said it happens when we get older. Great, what next?
