Five Years of Every Day is Saturday, a book signing and cake/toast/cookie tasting at our favorite summer retreat
Hi Friends,
This is a short and sweet invitation. Though I know not all of you here are New York-based, I’d like you all to feel (and be!) invited every time I do a live public event.
This June is five years since I released my book, Every Day is Saturday, into the world. You’re not supposed to have favorite kids or favorite book babies, but this one is special to me for many reasons. It came about at a very peak moment in my life, when we were settling into our life upstate, and my husband had just launched his business, Hudson Workshop. We still had two little cherubs under our roof, one of which fit neatly on my hip while cooking oodles of dinners for family and friends (we didn’t know it then, but a pandemic was hot on our heels. It was a magical time).
Besides nostalgia, though, I treasure this book most because I cook from it every single day. It feels as fresh and relevant to me today as the day it was released, and these are still the pancakes, toasts, cakes, tacos, spaghetti suppers, and sauces I make most often for our family and friends.
So, for the first time in ages, I’m back with a book signing and live event celebrating its five-year book birthday at my favorite summer space: Ravenwood, in Kerhonkson, NY. I hope you JOIN US:

WHY: Andras and I have been friends with Dana McClure and Chris Lanier of Ravenwood for over a decade. We’ve collaborated on meals, events, objects, parties, fundraisers, and so much more. Ravenwood is one of my favorite weekend spots, and it always feels amazing to bring our community together. I’ve made your almost famous cranberry bundt and would like to try it with cherries and/or mixed berries. I assume the rest of the recipe remains the same! Happy 5 year birthday of your book......many recipes have become our family favorites! Thank you.
